Description

During this programme you will gain expert understanding in a number of business areas, including business finance, management, marketing and operations management, designed to help lay the foundations of a successful management career. Modules contained within the degree will also help you to develop the entrepreneurial skills needed if you found and run your own business. Pathway specific modules allow you to prepare for a career in healthcare management. These modules introduce you to the provision of healthcare and the different forms this can take, together with exploring how it should be funded. You will then have an opportunity to explore effective management and leadership in a healthcare context, together with exploring how to be entrepreneurial.

Entry Requirements

IELTS 5.5 with no component less than 5.0 in each band, or equivalent (Functional Skills Level 2). This can be exempted by successfully passing the QA Higher Education INTERNAL test (minimum 55%). For each level, we offer non-standard entry routes for students. Mature learners may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive work experience (paid and/or unpaid) and/or achievement of a range of professional qualifications in their work sector. Please contact our team to discuss your existing qualifications and we will be able to recommend the most suitable entry point for you.

Entry Required Documents

  1. International Baccalaureate Diploma (for EU students) or Level 3

If you are a EU student and you don’t have an International Baccalaureate Diploma, you can still apply with a Level 3 Diploma and/or relevant work experience(Level 3 qualification – 60 UCAS points)

2. Copy of ID (National ID or Passport)

You need to upload one of these documents. The ID must be valid with 6 months before expiration .

3. Application Form

You must complete the application form. The form must be signed in original. We will provide a blank form after we will call you to confirm your application.

4. Personal Statement

A personal statement is an essay that the student must write to apply to study at the university. Its purpose is to summarise your skills and experience and help you gain a place at your desired course. It must include the name of the university and the name of the course. You have to mention why are you applying to this particular university and what do you hope to achieve after the course, career wise. A well written personal statement will help you stand out in the crowd and secure you a place at your dream university. You can follow a specific guide to answer to some expected questions, however, you must not mention them in the essay. Have a clear, cursive structure and write a minimum of 250 words.
